Logistikbude, a Dortmund-based logistics software startup, has raised more than €5 million in a Series A round as it pushes to scale a new category of software focused on managing load carriers such as pallets, containers and racks.
The round was led by Capnamic, with Moguntia Capital also joining. Existing backers Fraunhofer Technologie-Transfer Fonds, Rethink Ventures, XPRESS Ventures and Golzern increased their commitments, according to the company.
Founded in 2021 as a spinout from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, Logistikbude says its platform acts as a Load Carrier Management System, or LCMS, connecting with ERP, warehouse and transport systems while automating document-heavy processes with AI. The company argues that load-carrier administration remains one of the most operationally critical yet under-digitized parts of supply chains.
The startup said it now processes more than 50 million load carriers per month for customers including Nagel-Group and DACHSER. It plans to use the new funding to accelerate automation, strengthen its position in the emerging LCMS category and expand beyond the DACH market.
